Looking for enrichment in my enclosure.
"Still, what she lacked in grace, she made up for in enthusiasm."
1. Lets plan a virtual hang of some sort!
2. Briefly unmask to take a NAAT test at my place, and if negative, lets hang! (Must follow test directions beforehand.)
3. Wear a fit tested N95 or equivalent, indoors or (pref) outside.
4. Share our caution level.

Ye gods, my kingdom for a washer that doesn't destroy my clothes.
Never buying an LG washer again if I can avoid it. I have now been through three separate LG washers - actively running gentle cycles and packing my loads in a protective way - and they all cause damage.

They have no jurisdiction over US citizens.
So trying to block the way or gain access to a US citizen is no more permissible than a rando on the street.
If a rando with a gun shouted at me and tried to enter my car, I too would try to flee!

America's problems are solved problems. Just not here.
What would change if the US simply matched the average of 31 peer democracies? Not Denmark or Norway. Just the middle of the pack. 🧵

when you are asked to imagine a world without ICE, you're basically being asked to remember where you were when Lilo & Stitch came out

But in a COVID Cautious household who's only lived there since the pandemic, that is SO hard.
We thankfully already know one house, but the rest? All we've been able to do is wave.

This is just the America Trump wants. He’s always wanted a dictatorship, where his personal army can kill constituents of leaders who ran against him

Huge kudos to people who wanna be parents doing that thing! Absolutely nothing wrong with that
But wow, would I have been a terrible parent if I hadn’t wanted to

Is that it:
- becomes saying no to something someone attempted, not securing an enthusiastic ’Yes!’
- can in aggregate start to paint the person expressing a boundary as negative in general

Individualism is a mistake.
It is sold as freedom of choice - but in practice, at least here, it is used to stabilize levers of oppression by ideologically moving us away from civic care and other collectivist means of support, and is primarily replaced by capitalist hellscape

I hated to take them off. I felt exposed without them, like in the shower. What if I had an episode when I couldn't track them?

- still here
- relatively healthy, for my version
- housed in a home I adore
- married to my irreplaceable spouse
- chuffed by folks who thought of me/I thought of as the year turned
- in possession of things I look forward to
- still grateful
- still fighting
Happy 2026.
Don’t let them win.
