Liveframe just leveled up: enterprise users can now post videos! 🎬
Had to wrangle autoplay + fades on the live wall… and during testing, someone dropped a Taylor Swift clip that almost crashed the site 😂🔥

Getting guests to post can be easy. Our new host guide lays out a simple rhythm: print the QR, prime a few friends, seed three photos, then a short kickoff. Try it at your next event: liveframe.app/blog/posts/2...

I decided to sit down and try to play some Diablo 4 again, since I'm bored and maybe it wasn't as shitty as I remember it.

Well, it's been an hour. I updated my system, logged it into the wifi, Went through 3 security codes

Now I'm waiting on a 3 hour game update.
Guess I'll try again next year

I’m joining the No Kings protest this week as a neighbor who believes in justice and the power of community. We’re not a faceless crowd - we’re artists, teachers, parents, and caregivers channeling anger into hope and care. These moments matter. Join us. #NoKings

The most radical thing we can do is show discipline.
Protest is a public invitation, not a private vent.
The audience isn’t the police—it’s the country.
Don’t give Fox News content.
No kings. No violence. Just resolve.

I used to always find really cool new projects trending in projects. Now it's always just the same AI crap. What happened?

Another day, another incremental improvement for @sparkstone/css

improved nesting for forms in dialogs.
now expect dialog > article > form > header, content, footer

nicer looking fieldsets, and legends.

Today is Loving Day, the anniversary of the Supreme Court ruling that ended bans on interracial marriage in the U.S. It’s a quiet but profound reminder of how essential it is to protect love and inclusion as fundamental freedoms for everyone.

I've quietly been working on an end of life planning app, that will help you plan your end. Planning for the end is the greatest gift you can give your friends and family, so they can focus on mourning instead of trying to figure out all of the bills and legal bs they need to do.
Grim Choices – End-of-life planning made simple
Grim Choices helps you prepare for the inevitable with care and clarity. Guided by Remy, the friendly reaper, you’ll build your legacy with simple steps, secure data, and a touch of personality.

So uh.. I got a little distracted today. Instead of doing any of the items on my long to do list, I spent the whole day publishing and documenting an internal library.

Was it a day wasted, or productive? Idk, why not both?

I Finally Built the CSS Framework I Wanted | Sparkstone
I've been using Pico.css for years on a lot of projects. Liveframe.app is even built with it. But I've had to hack on it

Huge Independent Bookstore Day success at Portland's Black indie bookstore Third Eye Books! Met our governor Tina Kotek, co-founder of Portland's chapter of the Black Panther Party Kent Ford, and gave away 200 copies of The 1619 Project by Nicole Hannah-Jones. It was a good day. ❤️📚
