I’ve made this mistake and the poor people in my book had to watch as their home morphed from a village to a town to a hamlet for the sake of linguistic variety. They must have been so confused.

I know i still need to find a new job. It's making me have stomach cramps and insomnia from the anxiety. But at least i feel strong enough to be creative again. It gives me something else to look forward to. At the end of the day I can shit down the work PC and find a cosy place to write and escape.

The reason I left BlueSky for a while was my mental health tanked. I took sick leave for stress, and just stopped writing. I felt there was no point being here if I had nothing to talk about.
I'm back at work now. It's become very toxic, and it's not ok. But I'm writing. And I'm here.
