would have never imagined that we would stay here for eight months and what makes it worse is that we don't even know if or when we will get out. It's very hard to watch our Lives and dreams be destroyed while we are just warting helplessley. We are stripped of the right to have a say about our Lives. The Gov. wants to controL and determine how our lives will yo, just Like they have for the last 8 months. I urge everyone to Look at the evidence of our innocence. To see how unfairly we have been treated by the Gov. However, we we are still hopping that the process will play out well in the end. We still have full belief in the justice system. We know that the truth will come out soon. What happened to the victims of the attack is horrifyin the Santbe ag, Een ugn then hat the experime hat they experienced. My family and I wish that we would have mowr about his horritying plan, so we would have been able to stop him from harming others. Me and my family dream of the day that we will get out. Ramadan is coming and we will be fasting, I can't even imagine spending it in a detention Let alone away from my family, When will our punishment end? When will we be free? No family should ever be seperated or have to stay detained for months. No sane person would ever stay in this detention facilit willingly, not if he didn't have a big reason forcing him to stay. The conditions here are bad and the rules are made with considerat to the staff's needs not the residents. All the long Lists of harsh rules are taking away the kids childhoods. The kids are behind i their development, education, and growth. Themplore cout te bearable for a matimun of20 d * The supervisors here just cover up for each other. Someho every grievance or complaint that we have is unfounded, even i we have evidence and witnesses to support the grievance. They make promises that they sewer don't keep and change what they say all the time. It's very easy to see the truth about this place and about us. T People need to be truthful to themselves and follow the facts. Visiting this place isn't enough, I encourage anyone who think this place is good to come Live here Like aresident for just a month, not eight, and then he will feel what Iam talking abor The workers would make the place seem Like paradise while the reality is far from that. Ever since our bond hearing on Wednesday January 2Istgot denied, we have been falling apart. The hope of getting our bond. granted was helping us endure hardships. The support of our community and friends pushed us to keep fighting and never lose hope. Ne have previously won our bond on September 12th, but the Gov, decided to drag the decision and get it remanded. The Same bond that when remanded, went on trom Vecember 15 to January 2l with us praying that there will be no more delays and that we will finally earn our freedom back. In the end, it got denied for ridícnolas reasons We thought we have reached the light at the end of the tunnel, but. we were hullicinating. family, as s days ue hathed thy are enemyl never forget the look of fear and helplessness on my mother's Sace as she watchedme being taken away and couldn't do anything. to prevent it. After we heard the Judge's decision and after we realized that we will be detained for who knows how Long, our strength and will hit the rock bottom. Just as we were trying to process everything, we were seperated. At that moment, everything that we had left was completly shattered.

tbh i should've actually said "unlimited bodily autonomy" for #3 because trans rights are neatly encapsulated in that. the fundamental question at the heart of many issues (trans rights, homophobia, abortion, vaccines, etc) is whether or not you are allowed to have control over your own body.
