I appreciated having the chance to talk about Integrated on Michigan Public Radio. Michigan and Detroit are central to the story of Integration and the increasingly strident resistance to it in the 1970s.

AAG Detroit filled my heart and spirit. So many important moments, warm hugs, and solidarities formed. At the top of my list is laughing with Gwendolyn Warren, our Honorary Geographer, and witnessing Rickie Sanders get her flowers.

What a gift.
