Really enjoyed having a civil debate about the 12 steps and whether they've outlived their usefulness. I believe they have. But I'm open to debate the topic any time, with sources and references

Done. Was denied coverage by FL Blue over 10x for life saving drug treatment after multiple overdoses and a bout of homelessness. Was considered "not medically necessary". When they finally did, it was for 4 days then they cut me off. Ended up being $20k out of pocket for 30 days

Guess what? 12 step programs don't work for most people yet they are the most common form of treatment for SUD in the United States, despite years of failure and mountains of evidence showing they cause actual harm in the communities they're supposed to help. That's what I'm here for.

Just got ripped one on Threads because I stated my belief that 12 step programs and the disease model are actively hurting people they're supposed to help. I speak from personal experience yet "liberals" tell me I'm gonna "kill people". I'm trying to save them stupid. Nobody told me this stuff.

Overheard someone say that at Magic Kingdom they went to meet Mickey with Tink and that Tink was a man with a beard. I think they were lying. Straight up. Anybody been lately that can confirm? I can't find ANYTHING about it

Privileged people generally experience the system as biased against and as singling them out for abuse, because they cannot imagine that’s just how the system treats people.
From what I understand from listening to @kenwhite.bsky.social Weinstein isn't getting any special treatment, and this is how it is for everyone at Rikers, but no, he thinks he's being picked on.
