0-5: won't ever relisten unless under duress
6-7: if the mood strikes I'll relisten
8-9: now that's what I call music
10: they don't love you like I love you
King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard - Live in Prague '25 ('25)
The Ice V jams were so good, I need a funk album from them so bad. Starting to get tired of Grim Reaper being in every synth show, but it's so good in the moment i can't even blame them one bit.

Coil - Gold Is The Metal (With The Broadest Shoulders) ('87)
Compilation of unused song ideas from previous releases. Some are better than others, but they're all interesting in their own right. Also found out they had an unapproved Hellraiser soundtrack so gonna listen next

King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard - Live in Berlin '25 ('25)
Starting off with a 30minute MotU suite is so good, again really love when the non synth table songs get time to shine. Slow Jam 1 is another great example of an interesting take on a classic.

Tortoise - Touch ('25)
A nice comeback album for them, I hadnt been feeling the last 3 albums prior to the hiatus, they weren't bad just not exciting. This one isn't really pushing any new boundaries per se, but feels like a return to form and is just solid throughout.

Coil - Scatology ('84)
As with a lot of the early Coil work, I think sometimes the vocals can be a bit grating, but most of the time it just adds to the uncomfortable ambiance they create. Again shame it's only on streaming via re-uploaded playlists, but glad it's accessible

King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard - Live in London 25 ('25)
Another great set of shows, spreading out the synth shows has been good cause think I'd get bored if not. Always something new being done or tried, love how they're starting to integrate the rock side more and more.

Coil - Horse Rotorvator ('86)
Shame this isn't on streaming in full, but at least there's enough unofficial uploads to have playlists of it. Very interesting album, I just really love the approach Coil takes when writing music, the 80s content is so gritty it's great.

Coil - The New Backwards ('08)
The final evolution of the 90s demos that never saw the light of day. I plan on going to them at some point, but wanted to start with what Coil always intended them to be. They have such a unique take on music, fitting final album I love it all

Ciśnienie - (angry noises) ('25)
This has been one of my favorite bands I discovered in 2025, so was really happy to see they released a new album. We need more scary jazz in the world, I've loved everything they've done so far, but this was the best 1st listen so far.

King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard - Mango Sticky Rice ('25)
Musically it's not that interesting, it is a nice background sound, but doesn't do enough to get me really excited. I consider this almost a tech demo of sorts, will be interested to see if they do anything with this

Marina & the Diamonds - Electra Heart ('12)
Once again I think I've heard every song on this album through osmosis, but again it's just hits after hits. I just like her sound a lot, her music feels like an amalgamation of the best aspects of her contemporaries.

King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard - Live in Manchester '25 ('25)
They really are getting better and better with the synth table. Transitions can still be a bit rough at times, but overall they're just playing solidly. Finally got my Hell's Itch debut & then they did MotU 😵💫

Marina & the Diamonds - The Family Jewels ('10)
Always been a fan of her as an icon, but outside of singles hadnt heard much. As a whole the album was really good. Surprised I had heard most of it already, most likely osmosis through my wife. She truly exudes star power.

King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard - Live in Tilburg '25 ('25)
Overall like the Nathan only shows, but I would really like a rock show sometime soon. This method of translating more and more rock songs to the table is really cool though. Can't wait to see what else we'll get.
