A couple photos from Cerberus Canyon in Death Valley NP. Fun weekend of canyoneering. 33 rappels, 12.5 hours. Highest was 270’, also 240, 165, 115, and a lot more.

A little corner work. V4 with pinchy holds. Build tension with the right hand side pull and get feet up. Needs improvement, but not too bad.

I flashed this V4 a week ago. Went back today to try to duplicate it. Fun, juggy little route. The big throw required a strong right foot.

Finished up this overhangy V3 I had failed a couple days ago. Fun and a little swingy. I’ll definitely revisit this to try to make it smoother and cleaner

Gym today for the first time in nearly 3 months. Felt good, but I went easy on myself anyway. I had a couple rules: nothing girder than V3, and quit at the first sign of fatigue in order to avoid more injuries.

The weather outside is frightful, so I do what I have to do to get my miles in. Grinding them away on the trainer in my basement.

Just a couple pics I snapped in the Italian Alps back in November. The idea was to hit the Via Ferrata routes, but the weather didn’t cooperate. There was way too much snow, so I had to settle for these views instead
