I wrote a simple text editor (C++), with tabs, for times when notepad isn't handy (like Windows Sandbox). github.com/webprofusion...

I say "wrote" but you can probably guess how it was actually built.

What's the most innovative and useful app memory usage visualisation you've seen?

Looking for something that really captures the categories and areas of an apps memory use. Maybe a treemap, maybe something else.

Ironically a Metallica gig ticket costs the same as a nice entry level electric guitar. I wonder how many people forego buying that guitar just so they can go to the gig.

Authentication is an interesting double-edged sword. I'd love to use BlueSky more often on mobile but it keeps signing me out and I can never summon the energy to sign in again.

@teslatakedown.com if I sell my car, won't the person who buys it be victimised for owning it anyway?

Watching Barbarella (fruity even by modern standards, but funny) and almost everyone who was in the movie is now dead.

Humans are fragile and age in the blink of an eye.

What's the best native UI for using ollama? Bonus points for computer/browser use. The Web ones suck due to cors and limited interactivity with the desktop.

The only problem with pinning security to CT logs is if the logs all glitch at the same time your site could be banned from loading.

CT logs are big and hard to maintain..

Correct. If the birthdate field contains corrupt or mismatched data, it defaults to 1875-05-20, which serves as a flag. May 20, 1875, is the day the international standards and metrics treaty was signed. Everything is a conspiracy when you don’t know how anything works.

Our house had zero insulation. Shouldn't be allowed especially if you have extremes of temperature.

The guys installing insulation also found an aircon duct main feed split open and pumping nice cold air into the 60degC roof space.
