When tourism goes DRAMATICALLY down in states and cities in America that rely on tourism, the government better not be surprised. They can lie about the numbers but they can’t lie about job loss, hotels and attractions shutting down eventually. Pennsylvania relies on Canadians shopping etc

I think this is the right sentiment about a lot of things but not about inflation. The levels that followed the pandemic were enough to crush incumbents, and did all over the world.
