well, just bought my first non-F1 related tickets for my week in Mexico City!

It must be stressful being an artist right now. On the one hand AI is getting better and better at creating things. But on the flip side of that it will mean that REAL art made by humans will become more valuable.

It's astounding how fragile democracy can be. It has taken less than a year for the US to descend to the brink of becoming a fascist state.
I'm glad my country has a multiparty system, because I'm pretty sure the 2party thing has really helped Trump (and Project 2025) get this far.

I can't believe I almost look back on GWB years with nostalgia. We though that was as bad as it could get.

Also...unexpectedly seeing a man get shot in the neck....I'm not a fan. I people reallllly need to label videos like that. (I thought the link was to a news clip, not an actual recording). I don't think Charlie Kirk stands much of a chance

I don't think anybody should be shot for their opinions. Even if that opinion includes thinking it's worth a few people getting shot in order to protect the second amendment. I can't say I'm super sad, but I would definitely prefer it didn't happen.
