I'm so confused why the prevailing narrative of SA2 for years was that the game had a boring/monotonous soundtrack all bc they used electric guitars more when it's about as varied as SA1's ost is if you ask me.

THEY'RE REARRANGING THE *ENTIRE* SOUNDTRACK AND YOU CAN PLAY WITH THEM INGAME??

I thought I read it would've been a select few like the Reploid Remixes but this is actually INSANE.

While he wasn’t able to appear at the show, he shared a message with fans, explaining that the team—made up of former Star Force staff—is working hard to create a collection with unexpected features that surpass a simple port. All of the BGMs are being rearranged for the collection. What started as a plan to update only a few tracks grew into a full project to rearrange every piece for all three games. Players can switch between the new arrangements and the original music. Autosave, a much-requested feature absent from Battle Network Legacy Collection, will be included this time. Each game in the collection will also support multiple save files. The dev team is preparing additional “easy mode” features beyond the already-confirmed Mega Buster 500%. Their goal is to provide a range of options that make the games accessible to players of all skill levels. Although he didn’t contribute to Star Force Legacy Collection’s main visual, former series artist Shinsuke Komaki created a special commemorative illustration for attendees (above)."
