While the world watches Israel's war with Iran, Netanyahu's extremist government continues to starve and massacre Palestinians in Gaza.

Today, Israeli forces again opened fire on people desperately trying to collect food aid, killing dozens. Over 56,000 have been killed so far.
BREAKING: Palestinian witnesses and hospitals say Israeli forces opened fire toward hundreds of people waiting for aid trucks in central Gaza, killing at least 25 people.

I liked this article--it was very focused on cool ideas that work, and we need more of that right now.

This is what a rigged economy looks like:

In the 1970s, CEOs made 27 times more than the average worker.

In the 1980s, CEOs made 48 times more than the average worker.

This decade, CEOs are making 354 times more than the average worker.

That has got to change.

I said my main goal of this trip was to meet with Kilmar. Tonight I had that chance. I have called his wife, Jennifer, to pass along his message of love. I look forward to providing a full update upon my return.

Superb interview w/ Princeton president Chris Eisgruber - a model of resistance that is thoughtful, clear-eyed, but adamant of ultimate lines to draw -- applies for all univ and law and media too. Really worth a listen.

Netanyahu loves Trump's plan to force 2 million people from Gaza & turn it into a billionaires’ Riviera. He calls it "voluntary migration.”

It's not voluntary if you bomb & starve those who stay.

It’s ethnic cleansing. It's a war crime.

No more military aid to Netanyahu.

If Dems elected their next presidential candidate using #RankedChoiceVoting they could United around a strong candidate and generate enthusiasm for the race
Outgoing Prime Minister Justin Trudeau recently said one of his biggest regrets is that Canada doesn’t use #RankedChoiceVoting. But Canada’s Liberal and Conservative parties both use #RCV to choose their leaders, so his party will elect the next PM with RCV.

Runoff elections sounds good to me, or "majority winner" elections. The article makes a good point that sometimes we name things by the interim step they represent, not by the goal they are trying to achieve.

Ezra Klein, will you or have you interviewed anyone who supports Ranked Choice Voting on your show? Probably the biggest reason ideas like yours don't happen is that our entire system of governance rewards conflict rather than compromise. Interview Nick Troiano about his book The Primary Solution

I'm glad to see Ezra Klein discuss RCV! Whenever he goes over his ideas on his podcast, I think how much easier it would be to get these ideas through if we had RCV :)

Not getting much attention, but the Senate GOP is about to start voting - to make sure banks can charge higher overdraft fees. Seriously.

Good time to let your Senators know what you think of that.
