Outgoing Prime Minister Justin Trudeau recently said one of his biggest regrets is that Canada doesn’t use #RankedChoiceVoting. But Canada’s Liberal and Conservative parties both use #RCV to choose their leaders, so his party will elect the next PM with RCV.

Runoff elections sounds good to me, or "majority winner" elections. The article makes a good point that sometimes we name things by the interim step they represent, not by the goal they are trying to achieve.

I'm glad to see Ezra Klein discuss RCV! Whenever he goes over his ideas on his podcast, I think how much easier it would be to get these ideas through if we had RCV :)
