We support Ranked Choice Voting for Sacramento's local elections!

www.BetterBallotSacramento.org
#SacramentoCounty uses an exclusionary, undemocratic & stupidly expensive election process that routinely cuts out ✂️ 100's of 1,000's of voters

We can make a change. By adopting #RankedChoiceVoting we could empower voters, open doors to diverse candidates & save County 💰 for vital services

"NYC voters elected Democrat Zohran Mamdani as their next mayor after a contentious general election campaign…

"This campaign was notably different from New York City’s primary elections, which use #RankedChoiceVoting (RCV). Those races were marked by positive campaigning and coalition-building.”
New York mayoral election shows need to expand ranked choice voting - FairVote
New York City should expand ranked choice voting to its general elections so all voters can have better choices and better elections.

3 out of every 4 races for Sacramento's city council are decided in the Primary Election in the Spring...

Why is that bad? Because very few people vote in the Primary!

People show up to vote in the Fall but Sac's already crowned a winner in the Spring! They've been cut out of the process
