Mackerels pencil sketch. The one on the left just remembered how delish mackerels are, and is now understandably upset. They are safe from me though, I can’t digest them.

Been exchanging ideas for Xmas gifts with family and the one thing I asked for is to avoid anything AI gen might have polluted. Unfortunately, about 90% of what I like to receive (art, jigsaws, books, sewing and embroidery patterns…) is infested by bots slop and fraudsters.

Been exchanging ideas for Xmas gifts with family and the one thing I asked for is to avoid anything AI gen might have polluted. Unfortunately, about 90% of what I like to receive (art, jigsaws, books, sewing and embroidery patterns…) is infested by bots slop and fraudsters.

New trend for my clothes : « visibly mending » holes with embroidery. The first one is a patch I made from a bought design and my embroidery machine, the second one (the cat head) I made by hand and ngl it took me an embarrassing amount of time u_u but I like it, so, worth it.

Finally submitted my attack for FE Art Scuffle, it took forever for me to finish it… I had to get used to a new software (CSP) AND a new setup (new tablet + mini keypad) and it was so frustrating I shamelessly rushed and cheated my way through the second panel (ty csp free assets library!)

Got praised by my doctor this morning about my biochemical blood results, she said whatever you’re doing, keep doing it, and my reply was : I’ve read « Next level » by Dr S.T. Sims cover to cover and took its advices. She actually wrote down its title and author to read it too.

I’m still working out consistently 4-5 times a week, even though I notoriously have 0 self-discipline or taste for repetitive exercise. My secret super power ? An off-the-charts sense of guilt. I guilt myself into exercise, for example by having a carb snack, or buying a cute gym outfit.

I joined this. Already feeling all awkward about it, most people in the server are half my age. But hopefully it’ll motivate me to draw something new in July.
There’s a disconcerting but deeply rooted trend in my work field, that all technological novelties equal progress and must be implemented asap, with almost no thoughts for its actual added value for the users.
