🌊 We’re taking action against #BottomTrawling in marine protected areas.

Last year, we joined forces with @clientearth.bsky.social to take Spain to court for failing to protect their seas, but still nothing has changed.

BREAKING: The EU watchdog just replied to our complaints. And she stands with us.

She has found that the @ec.europa.eu committed maladministration when it prepared its Omnibus I and 2024 CAP proposals to roll back key environmental protections.

Nothing more than a complete ban on PFAS chemicals is enough to prevent their countless negative health impacts. Although such a ban is being discussed in the EU, the UK is having no such conversations.

Why are PFAS so bad for people and planet?
Scientific studies have identified a number of health concerns resulting from the use of PFAS.

📢Good news in the fight against toxic chemicals📢

The manufacturer of Tefal Teflon pans is being sued by NGOs for claiming in ads that its pans containing PFAS are 'safe'.

But we know that can't be true - PFAS chemicals have been shown to be detrimental to our health and to the environment.

☠️The OECD definition of what constitutes PFAS, or ‘forever chemicals’, has been carefully established based on decades of peer-reviewed science.

But the chemicals industry wants it to change and possibly be narrowed, meaning some of these dangerous chemicals will escape proper definition. 1/3
