Luka started in Gridania! His lore is that he grew up in an orphanage there after his clan from Gyr Abania was killed by Garleans. He was raised surrounded by the bigotry and knew it keenly especially in the Archer's guild, but he formed close friendships with the other 'outcasts' there.
