Thinking about the time I met that older gamer who pulled the "I played games like Rogue, but nobody remembers games like that anymore." I had to explain that not only is Rogue still remembered, an entire genre of games is named after it.

Remembering that time I phoned up TV3 because they played the wrong episode of Charmed. The woman who responded sid they had received similar calls and were addressing it. About 20 mins into the incorrect episode, it abruptly stopped, and started playing the correct episode from the start.

A few days ago I was telling someone that the nice little shop I planned to buy a Christmas present in was probably going to shut down sometime because "you can just tell."

Getting real tired of these UK number calls. They last seconds whether I pick up or not. Don't know if it's a scam or not. They stop ringing quickly if I don't pick up and hang up immediately if I do

I switched over to Linux Mint on my main desktop and it's honestly gone pretty smoothly so far. All my essential programs have Linux ports/equivalents, and Steam makes it easy to play my games just like on Steam Deck (I don't play games with anti-cheat). Like the vibe and ecosystem better too.
