Kids are allowed to hang out in our middle school library before school. Today I had one kid teaching himself to write in cursive via a YouTube video just for fun, a kid regaling a friend with the merits of Robinson Crusoe, and a pair arguing about some relatively complex genetics concepts. #TLsky

A8 I can’t decide on one word but I want to say thank you so much, this was just what I needed to bear the post-vaca blues! It’s so easy to forget all the good things we do and focus on what we can’t get done, so I appreciate this reminder. Maybe my word is Gratitude! ❤️ #TLSkyChat

A6: I teach a media lit class in the fall semester. Students have to write their own news stories and we publish in our student-run newsletter. My next reading challenge will be a raffle reward to encourage students to write book reviews for our online catalog. Working with teachers. #TLSkyChat
