I guess I'm feeling especially sensitive thanks to my spiked anxiety because trying and failing to understand and play various non-Wordle and Connections daily puzzle games has made me feel incredibly fucking stupid. And I already both feel and am generally pretty fucking stupid on any given day.

Does anyone else try to explore cooking / food posts to find a dish they'd like to learn how to make, only to get overwhelmed by choices? Like damn, my culinary universe is so tiny, so limited. I've no idea what I'm even looking at with some of these meals or how I'd ever source their ingredients.

Wtf how have I missed that Avatar has a fighting game out soon!? I've fallen off the genre pretty hard thanks to my utter disdain for gaming online but this I will absolutely try out at the very least. Toph was announced but they better include my man Bolin and his lavabending or I will be pissed.

Hey! Did you know that antibiotics can have an adverse impact on your neurotransmitters, thus triggering symptoms of anxiety? Me neither! But it's a thing! Now if you'll excuse me, I have to work for another six hours while a shrieking cyclone of panic tries to bore its way out of my chest! Bye!

I'm working on an anthology story and it is very plainly illustrating that my difficulty with finishing projects also applies to single segments of stories if they have conclusive endings. ADD plays a role but I think some of it is the same complex that makes me afraid to draw again. Frustrating.

I used to write a lot of poetry and lyrics. It was the only form of writing I practiced for something like eleven years, from middle school into my early twenties. These days I'm fixated on my stories, all set in a place where music, especially music made by amateurs, is a valuable commodity.

Well then. Apparently I have bronchitis, and ear infections in both ears. Honestly, I'm shocked I don't feel worse. But now I have antibiotics, probably the first antibiotics I've taken in half-a-decade, so maybe I'm about to feel a lot better than I have in quite some time. Who knows. I'm so tired.

As much as I'm enjoying Hollow Knight, I'm not sure I've ever hated a design decision in any game more than having to take up a charm slot to see where my character is on the world map. It is god damn sprawling, and I do not have the memory capacity to go without being able to pinpoint my location.

Sigh. Once again I am sick and have fluid rattling my lungs. Last time I had these same symptoms I was very contagious and basically had to live with it for close to a month. I'm hoping it will be less severe this time since I haven't felt like feverish, but will be calling my doctor regardless.

Thinking about how the Ed, Edd, n' Eddy movie is one of the few perfect endings to a series. Not only does it add a deeper tragic element to Eddy and explains why he's Like That (and why the other Eds played along), but it wraps up the arc of the series perfectly (avoiding giving spoilers).

I bounced off of Hollow Knight years and years ago. It was fun, but I just didn't have the patience for its backtracking. Now I seem to be slowly, steadily developing a newfound respect and appreciation for metroidvanias, so it feels almost important that I go back, start HN over and see it through.
