the "cold war" in wrestling giving us STRONG stuff between CMLL x AEW does rule, i guess the fact mexico is way closer than japan for alot of the AEW talent too, but CMLL x AEW is so much stronger/better than the New Japan relations, which sucks since Nooj is basically the reason why we have AEW.

In the past I feel like Dave Meltzer would write something like this--a thorough and honest breakdown of the situation heading into a huge weekend. Dave's still capable of that, but I really appreciate having people like Trish putting in the time and effort to give this kind of analysis.

Having the ability to read this before it went live, I can say this is probably the only article on Hogan I will ever read, but it is a very thorough look at his career and the terrible things that shaped the lasting impressions people had of him as a person. I thoroughly enjoyed this piece.

The things that has truly surprised me the last couple of months is seeing how many other people have seen Hangman as both a totem in their own lives and as aspirational character. This is beautiful writing, and I feel so glad that the writer got to experience the joy of seeing it live.
