I have kept my Twitter/X still open as an account to function as an archive of some fantastic artists and art I’ve liked, but given Elon’s multiple Nazi salutes last night, I’m not sure if my support/nostalgia/and whatever positive emotion I have tied to my saved posts is worth it.

It’s interesting that the emojis show the earth from three angles 🌎 🌍 🌏 but not the fourth.

Though 🔵 is a fair approximation of what it would look like.

People underestimate the Pacific.

I just found out that around 20% of the neanderthal genome still exists today in living people!!

No individual person has more than 3 or 4% but we don't all have the same bits. If you add up all the bits we've found, about a fifth of the Neanderthal genome is still present on earth today.
