So like it’s been months and ISAT (In Stars and Time) remains absolutely GOATed, but underappreciated aspect I think: what a soundtrack! I still regularly listen to I WON’T LET YOU GO HOME and Do You Remember cause they’re so damn effective

Alright well Paladin’s Grace (also by @tkingfisher.com) was just so god damn good I honestly forgot I bought it out of a romantasy section. Good lord it was so compelling and interesting! And the romance was so good! Ahhhhhhhhhhh why does hardly anyone carry this book let alone the sequels ahhhhhhhh

Update: finished In Stars and Time. Emotionally devastating, never so clearly gone “mmmmmm yep that feels a little too familiar to irl depressive episodes” in…any piece of media? The creative use of text especially elevated it imo

The Last Gifts of the Universe was a very enjoyable read about overcoming grief and hopelessness at the end of the universe. Would recommend.

In Stars and Time is a ton of narrative fun. It is also soooooo brutal to play/watch/experience? When you’re intimately familiar with Siffrin’s thought patterns. Some of this scenes just…damn.
