Lots of NFL records are going down today but I don't think I've heard a single mention of the length of the season. Seems important when the record falls (or is matched) on the last play of the last quarter of an extra game.

Fingers crossed I'll be at #FOSS4G in Belém if my booking skills hold up. Google flights had me at 46 hours door to door with one of the wildest itineraries I've ever seen but got it down to 21 with a long layover in Miami and a xfer to FLL. Going to need some more directs before COP next year...

I appreciate the vibe here and the obvious differences from the "other place" but it's still doomscrolling. If this is going to work long term I'm going to need more humor, science, art, culture and tech and less politics.
