What's the point of negotiating with someone who already violated a bunch of trade agreements to impose tariffs? They ALREADY negotiated. And then Trump just decided that didn't mean anything.

Some amazing 1940s book covers. Wondering if I should frame each book and hang them on the wall.

PSA: If you’re going to go around referring to yourself as the “king” of America you sure as fuck don’t get to call a democratically elected foreign leader a “dictator.”

The world's richest man shutting down the biggest aid organisation in the world... That is bottomless evil right there.

The iconic 1941 Pattern Mae West! Used by pilots during WW2, and seen in the typical images of Spitfire pilots.

These are hard to come by, but I got lucky in November so this became an early xmas present to myself.

I certainly judge books by their covers. In fact covers like these are why I buy most books these days. Just love these two editions of the same book by Åke Wallin, originally published 1944 (left) in Sweden and 1949 in Norway.
Allan Löthman did the original cover, the second is not credited.

Who knew craziness would spill over into aviation history? Rewriting American history, with the US Air Force is immediately bowing to the new Fuhrer by stopping to teach recruits about Tuskegee Airmen (black pilots) and the WASPs (female pilots) during WW2. Overnight, it is about white males.

The USAF removed Tuskegee Airmen & Women Airforce Service Pilots of WWII from basic training curriculum. For 30 years I promised these women I would not let them ever be forgotten again. We worked for decades to have them remembered. The Airmen too. Knowledge is power. 🗃️ www.msn.com/en-us/societ...

The Tuskegee Airman were some of the most decorated pilots in WWII. The deck was stacked against them but they rose to the challenge and in the end, they were some of the most decorated pilots in the Air Corps. Why would anyone stop teaching about the Tuskegee Airmen? Answer: Racism!

I don't remember reading Biggles growing up. I guess i didn't get exposed to the adventurous covers! These are no 6&7 published in Norway and came out here in 1947. Such great cover art at that time, but I have yet to figure out who the artist was.

Found a vintage (approx 75 years old) US Air Force N-3A parka. It is snowing here in Oslo (Norway) at the moment, so I'll have to take it out and test it. The pic in front of the shark teeth Sabre was taken by a Norwegian Air Force officer in the 60s.

Very happy to have this original ca 1947 travel poster framed and on the wall. In fact I have two, one in the shop + one in the living room! DNL - Norwegian Air Lines merged with the Swedish and Danish carriers to become SAS Scandinavian Airline System in 1948. (aircraft: Short Sandringham) #norway

It's been so cold here in Norway lately I've been considering putting on my 1940 Irivin, RAF flying jacket. But climate change appears to come to the rescue, rain replacing snow shortly, according to the weather forecast...
