Reading up on the Horizon Steel Frontiers announcement, and although it's Google Translate's machine translation, it's very clear they're using AI extensively, even in the art department. this makes SF an even harder no for me.

The new Mass Effect show not being about Shepard is a huge W. It will be interesting to see what 'ending' it is set after, or if they manifest some sort of event to render the various endings mute.

I don't think they will tomorrow, but I think BioWare would only be helping themselves by confirming three things ASAP, and giving the fandom time to adjust
1. If Shepard is or is not back as PC
2. If they are canonizing an ending.
3. If it's set hundreds of years in the future.
