I'm an indie dev currently working on a hybrid RPG and visual novel called South of the March. It's set in the same fantasy world as a text adventure I released a while back, this time with hand-drawn art and turn-based combat!

What if Nayeon from TWICE was the president? Would her policies be bad? Probably, yes, but let's just try it and see.

How are we supposed to get rid of ICE? Do you want to go back to what it was like before? There were no laws against doing 9/11 then because we didn't have DHS.

The degree to which all support is now AI chatbots posing as actual people is a very disconcerting experience.

Always loved this book.

I looked at 4chan after the Daniel Shaver shooting because I was curious what the response would be without racism as a factor. I was shocked to see an almost uniform response of "he messed up, but I wouldn't have." A boot on the face is assumed, they just debate how they'd personally dodge it.
One of the most fascinating things about right-wing apologists for state violence is that they generally don't even frame it as something that won't happen to them. It will, they imagine, but they'll just be better at complying.

Purely by coincidence, I have watched movies two nights in a row where Dave Franco suffers grievous bodily harm.

Let's cut out the middleman, okay? Just sell me the PSN trophies directly. Free me from this digital prison.

Something I find interesting about bullet heaven games is that despite being wildly overstimulating with one trillion things happening on screen at once, no genre has ever made me fall asleep staring at the TV like this.

I can't get over the use of "alleged" here, as if there's any kind of legal concern, as if any actual laws exist or have any meaning in this scenario.
if "machineguns and destructive devices" are a basis for prosecuting a foreign head of state on their soil then idk bud

every single one of you being like “it doesnt matter how I feel about maduro, they shouldnt have done it like this” it actually matters a lot! your culpability is not tempered by your cowardice. when Venezuela goes the way of Libya the blood will be on your hands too

I like that "Justin Long (playing a guy who sucks) goes to a place he shouldn't go" is an entire genre of movie.

I'm no expert on journalism style guides, but I think perhaps "quoting the AI as if it's a person" is a stylistic choice we should immediately stop making.

Too catatonic to change the channel. The first thing I witness in 2026 is the grim visage of Pitbull. "Reach for the stars," he pleads. What sort of omen is this?

Sometimes I like to think marketing doesn't work on me, but other times Netflix is like "hey the 2018 Slender Man movie that you've never heard of is leaving soon" and I'm like "oh shit I'd better watch it now"

AI grievance #9024071: I made a bunch of changes to my website, mostly for SEO purposes, and started googling things to see what's indexed. Here's a phrase I myself wrote in a piece about Tails of Iron, attributed confidently and in great detail to the game itself (in which it does not appear).
