GenAI has really crystalized for me how art is not pictures or sounds but rather a medium for human expression, for taking some part of the human experience (often an emotion) and bottling it up on a page or film or recording, for others to experience.

In a normal democracy, Obama would pass all his policies with his majority, voters would decide if they liked it or not, and vote to keep him in office or throw him out.
In our democracy, a president campaigns on reforms, can't get any of them passed, & then everyone votes on who they blame for it
