It's hard finding time to draw on location with 2 kids, so I took a few ref pics while visiting the Jersey Shore and then drew them later with the new acrylic markers I got for my birthday.

Of course the last blob was the hardest. When I'm stumped, I turn to drawing my boys. 😅
That wraps up this year's #Artober ! It was the 1st time I tried drawing over watercolor blobs, and I found it creatively refreshing!

30 min later, Karl finds our dog at our neighbor's house snuggling on their couch. Meanwhile, I ran around the block frantically searching for him while hacking a lung.
Of course, Newton is now lying on our couch as if nothing happened.

We've been meaning to visit Leoda's pie shop since last time we were in Maui a few years ago, so we were happy to finally check it out. Their banana cream pie (as well as their avocado cucumber sammie) was SO good. Highly recommend!
