my one and only health food tip is that if you accidentally end up with 2kg of chickpea flour you can add it to bread flour at a ratio of 1:4 or 1:3, it will hardly change the rise, and it makes the entire bread higher in fibre and protein and essential vitamins

I’ve seen a few folks go for the “if you simply must watch that new Harry Potter show just pirate it” and sorry. No. Just no. Just don’t watch it. At all. Ever. Break free of it. It’s time. You’ll be ok. I promise. I know it mattered to you as a kid. Find new things, it’s healthier. Just move on.

you have to retcon literally three lines of ONE movie to make it so "James Bond" is a codename rather than his actual name

make it a recurring MI5 guy
not the same dude
not hard
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

my fav artist is touring at the moment in intimate venues and his audience is very online, so they're very loud when they get sick post-gig, and a lot of them are

"don't go to a gig when sick"
"make sure you use sanitiser"

good things! but ive not seen a single person say to wear a fuckin mask

Whanau, I did it. Unbelievably, I was born between 1968 and 2004. I couldn’t be sure I’d had 2 measles vaccinations (I definitely had one, it’s in my plunket book).

So, I had an MMR booster last week. If you, like me, aren’t sure, go and get one. They’re free and you can book via bookmyvaccine.

oh your inositol supplement is marketed for the #girlypop #girls #femme #females #sisterhood??

even though inositol is predominantly utilized by afab folk who may have a tenuous grasp on gender already due to the androgenising nature of their conditions? wow I feel so fucking heard

hello my show is still on even though my immune system will not let me be physically there

Messy - at BATS - it's got one more night, tomorrow

a beautifully conflicting show about going through the gauntlet as an artist, only about 40 min, performed by three fab actors

Trans people exist. Nonbinary people exist. Gender and sex and biology are wonderful chaotic messes.

And the biggest threat to cis women's safety and dignity in 2025 is the globally coordinated far right movement which seeks to Handmaid's Tale us all

Refuse to be divided.

green shakshuka
- all green things cut up
- add onion & garlic & tomato paste (or not!) to pan
- let cook for lil bit
- add green things in order of various cooking times to pan
- add some stock and some paprika to make it saucier
- crack eggs in, let cook
- serve with bread and cheese
- yummo

Emily (Emily Writes) and I drafted a letter to Andrew Little about his decision to appoint Ray Chung as chair of the CCO Review & Appointments subcommittee. We think this is unacceptable given his past behaviour. Here's a template for a letter if you agree:

Really, Andrew Little?
Andrew Little has appointed Ray Chung to head an important Wellington City Council committee. We don't think he should be doing that. If you agree, please tell him so. Here's how.
