Sometimes I forget how much modern American poetry owes to newspaper writing.

My favorite section of the store that nobody ever buys anything from is my Drugs section. I just like having it around. I thought druggers might need something to drug out with but I think they must have different kinds of drugs around here...

Just some fun for my own amusement. I remember fun! Some of my more record-y acquaintances might enjoy it.

I've never owned a copy of Nevermind, but I have kept this since 1992. The grunge era was all about anti-humor.

I will be reading at Feeding Tube on the 19th. Come say hi and buy weird records. Thanks to Karen Schoemer for inviting me to be a part of this! Reading anything in the house of Byron Coley is fraught with peril! Mostly, because there are boxes of records EVERYWHERE.

The year is 2003.

17-year-old Stephen Miller is sitting in the back of a school bus talking about torture, as in “Torture is a celebration of human life and dignity."

Miller looks directly into the camera and describes the torturing Iraqis in gruesome detail, as his peers laugh uncomfortably.

I watched Hegseth today and I kept thinking: Is there anyone MORE moronic, LESS qualified, and LESS equipped to talk to veteran commanders and leaders of this country's armed forces?

And then Trump came out on stage...

I might be paranoid, but Sydney Sweeney's new ad campaign, where she pays tribute to GG Allin, seems to pander to New Hampshire libertarians.

I've been bringing in a bunch of my own stuff from home to sell. Pass them on to a new generation of people...uh...my age. I am all about lightening my load metaphorically, physically, spiritually, constitutionally, and mentally.

I don't know if I've met a "Radical Left" before. I've met some registered Democrats in the past. Some of them were definitely sus as far as how much Americana they listened to. But even I have some pie in the sky "equality for everyone" skeletons in my closet.

A fun game is to see how many words or sentences are devoted to descriptions or critiques of the visuals/cinematography in a New York Times movie review. I'll give you an example. Here is what I found in the ENTIRE review of *The Long Walk* printed in today's paper. Ready? "washed-out images".
