![How to ACTUALLY Deal with Tear Gas
Wear ANSI Z87.1-2010 standard full face respirator with P100 prefilters, and multigas filters.
P100 disposable respirators still provide protection, but won't save your eyes and nose from rubber bullets. N95 respirators will rapidly break down if atatcked with CS gas. P and N filters provide little protection against Trimix (CN, CS, and OC combined with nitrous oxide propellant). Multigas filters do.
What to bring:
*ANSI Z87.1-2010 standard full face respirator with P100 prefilters, and multigas filters.
*Tyvek painting disposable suit
*Welding gloves (nitrile preffered, leather works sligthly worse)
*Duct tape (To seal the hood, gloves and boots [See Rebecca Ferguson in Silo for a great demo {No pantsuits do}])
*ASTM F2413 rubber boots (steel or composite toe [mobs will destroy your toes])
*4L of drinking water in 1L bottles with sport spouts
*Head protection (Motorcycle/ballisitic helmet, hardhat)
*20mm plywood shield with arm straps
*Genital cup
IF SOMEBODY GETS HIT WITH GAS:
*Remove from area
*Wash face with 2L of potable water (do not mix with anything else)
*Remove contaminated clothing
*Shower (dish soap removes the sticky oil and UV dye)
