I think it's safe to say that this piece is complete. This project has been a significant learning experience for me, and in a way, it has highlighted visual elements I enjoy working with. It has also opened new doors to other ideas. Wishing a Happy Easter to those who celebrate! #gayartists

Here is another piece I found in storage. I created it about months ago, and it has been unresolve. I made a few adjustments, which transformed the painting. I'm intrigued by what’s happening here. #art #artwork #artist #abstract #abstractart #paintings #artpaintings #artistsoninstagram #gayartists

This piece has been unresolved in storage for over a year. I finally gathered the courage to get back to it. I feel it's done. #painting #abstract # abstract #art #artwork #artcollection #gayart #gayartwork #painter #painterly #artistsofinstagram

This piece (enormous for me at 4 x 4 feet) is going to a home on Fire Island, NY. If I can figure out how to get it there! #abstractcollage #abstractart #lyricalabstraction

A simple little landscape painting today. Just needed a breather. 8x8” acrylic on wood.

I decided to rework this piece, and I'm feeling much better about it now. It’s definitely one of my darkest and strangest paintings. It feels great to finally wrap this up and move on. #universe #painting #abstract #abstractart #strange #art #artwork #gayart #gayartists #gayartistsoninstagram

I won’t lie; this is definitely the strangest painting I’ve created. The space feels unusual, and the style is peculiar, but there’s something uniquely charming about it. So, I’ll leave it as is and move on to the next piece. #artwork #paintings #painter #contemporaryart #abstractart #universe

I can't believe how fast this residency flew by. I met some great people at @millayarts. I'm spending one last morning today before I head back. Here are a few pieces that are close to being done. #art #artist #millay #millayarts #contemporaryart #painting #painter #abstractart #abstracts

Working in this, trying to make sense of the space. Not sure where it’s heading yet. #art #artist #painting #painter

It's surprising how attitudes change. Last week, I hated this painting, but after a break, I see it differently. It's unique compared to my past work. I'm considering toning down the space, but for now, I'll leave it. It feels like it's trying to communicate something. #wip #painting #abstractart
