A sudden wave of emotions hits me thinking about Leo, who passed away almost year ago and was my last childhood family pet. I truly miss him and Sabastian a lot.

It's been a stupidly hot weekend in Sydney.
Dropped into the local library which has extended hours to beat the the heat today.
I've never seen it so full. All the tables occupied with people studying, or reading, or doing puzzles. People resting in the comfy chairs.
Libraries - more than books.

And to this day, my favourite Valentine’s Day was in third grade when a boy from my class that I had a crush on gave me a stuffed dog with hearts on it and candy jewellery.
After all these years I still remember and think fondly. Thank you Justin for making that day a core memory.
