That was a really good win against Quality opposition.
Played well, without any stress.

The key takeaway for me is that Arsenal can still press well, would be interesting to see if we continue it in league now.

P.s. cheeky from Declan to get that yellow 🔴⚪

Just guessing, but I do wonder if the fact Havertz didn't get minutes tells us something about his readiness/fitness.

People have placed a lot of stock in his return, and tonight would have been a good night for some playing time. Perhaps not quite as close as we'd like, but let's see.
FT Inter 1-3 Arsenal.

7 wins from 7 in the CL this season, this was an impressive one too.

Obviously not all one way traffic, but Jesus was excellent, Saka really good down the right, a very useful goal for Gyokeres, and that's another big win to bolster our European reputation.

Now for Sunday!

What a mad season this is.

Understandable angst after Forest, but we end up better off against the two closest sides thanks to other results.

And we have somehow, inexplicably, extended the gap at the top with our drab 0-0 tie yesterday. COYG!

So after all the bed wetting, we played away from home & extended our lead again by the end of weekend.

One game at a time. On to the next one. UTA

Arsenal have a bad weekend and still stretch their lead at the top of the table. Lovely stuff.

Weird feeling that our lead at the top of the table has been extended, but also frustration missed a real opportunity.

We just didn't do enough in the second half, Saka and Merino chances were about all we had, and they weren't exactly clear cut.

Forest made it tough, but Arsenal fell well short

Was never a 2-3 game. Just inches from making a well deserved 1-4 win, but made it a bit more difficult in the end. Chelsea had some luck where the ball fall in their direction of play in 50/50 duels. Big Vic really made a impact today when we finally included him in our play. Good feeling ahead. ⚪🔴

Chelsea 2-3 Arsenal. FT.

A thrilling 2nd half, Arsenal had their two goal lead cut down twice. A good result for Arsenal nonetheless going into the 2nd leg where they'll have an advantage at home.

A good night for Viktor Gyokeres.

A player for the big occasion. 🇸🇪

Arsenal had two great chances to make it 4-1 & basically end the tie as a contest, but we missed both and then Chelsea make it 3-2.

I think we were the better side by some distance, & it's a good win away from home, but I suspect Arteta will feel this one should be more or less done. Cup football!

Think the assessment of those close to the player has proven to be correct.

Nice one. The two-goal lead would’ve felt better but any lead to take home for the second leg will do.

Long-awaited Gyokeres g+a, and if the throw-in coach had anything to do with the quick throw leading to his goal then he’s already earning his money.
