It's either this or strict domestic certification like China is doing with "CCC" batteries/power banks.

And most people are likely to buy random crap for cheap anyway.
After a series of mobile battery fires that caused injuries and delays, Japan's Ministry of Transportation will move to ban their use on domestic flights starting in April. They'll also limit the number of mobile batteries that passengers can carry to two per person.

The complaints about "vagueposting" looks like a combination of everyone's private musings being surfaced against their will by an FYP feed as well as people's personal entitlement to know and be told everything that isn't meant for them.

I think it's great personally that Microsoft is both the company ruining everything about Windows 11 with AI, as well as the company we need to implement a generalized API for kernel-level anticheat in place of other game developers.

The Guardian has a striking map suggesting Trump has pushed the world, especially Europe, toward China.

It’s visually compelling. But misleading. The world isn’t moving away from the U.S. The U.S. is moving away from the world. as I show on @goodauth.bsky.social. goodauthority.org/news/the-wor...

I have a feeling, though, that presenting these medical facts as part of a fictional scenario vastly dilutes its impact. If it's made up, would anyone change their minds?
