i haven’t opened FB in almost a year but I decided to make a post in a community group last night. that quick i’m headed to a meeting right now about my idea. people are hungry for the arts and the connections it inspires. sucks that the city is so fucking terrible at handling arts & culture

artists like to yap like everyone else. think of all the art & media that would go unnoticed if weren’t for the insatiable urge to yap that afflicts us all
General question for discussion: How do you guys feel about artists that talk a lot in-between posting art, even if not directly art related? Inocuous posts, interests, etc.

I acknowledge i've always had a problem with resting but im fired up. I have more ideas than I have time to pursue them. especially using art in the forming of physical spaces and tools to communicate
To friends struggling to create: the US is in the middle of extreme psychological warfare. Thoughts that your art doesn’t matter are not your thoughts. Your expression is essential. It’s ok to rest though. Every time you find your way back to creating is a victory and you are growing and learning.

We were robbed of greatness!
they gave us a Blasian kid prince, a First Nations chick, his Brown homie that looks like he could be from 5 different parts of the world, and their winged monkey comic relief sailing the high seas searching for magical treasures. in the 90s. let us get hooked and then snatched it away
