Fandom needs interaction to thrive, if u want to keep enjoying art, fic, edits, animations, silly little hcs, and all of that gud stuff, give some of the love back that creators pour out for you, fandom shouldn't be /content/ to mindlessly consume, let it be a dialogue of love and appreciation 🙏✨❤️

I think a big fandom shift in interacting with stuff has gone from people commenting under the created thing whether it be fic or art to people linking it in private discord groups where the person who made it will never see any positive comments left on the thing they made.

I've noticed more posts missing alt text lately, i suspect because of the influx of newcomers from other sites where alt text isn't the norm. I'd recommend enabling this setting to add a reminder to do alt text before posting.

If you want advice/help writing alt text, I'm happy to lend a hand!
A quick guide showing how to add an alt text reminder on bsky 1: Click settings 2: Click accessibility 3: Click the tick box next to "require alt text before posting" This is followed by a reminder of how to add alt text, by clicking the "+ALT" button when posting an image. (the image in the example is a gamecube)

This is the kind of thing I don't know how to convey in a gamedev job app. I taught myself the HOMMIV toolset when I was ten years old, and today I just opened it up and created an opening instance for a new adventure in an hour. I spent my teens doing this and so much more in the NWN toolset, too~

I do understand: you want permission. There’s a machine in the corner wrapped in human skin that makes things out of shit and blood to look like whatever you want (as long as you don’t look too closely). You gave one to your teacher and they didn’t notice. Your boss told you to use it after they laid off half the team and it was fine. You fed one to your kids and they liked it. You want to know you can use it sometimes without me thinking less of you. You don’t need me to believe it’s useful, you just want me to be polite about it.
