Today saw an interesting "rant" against WEBP format about how it's not supported and can be used everywhere.
Interesting in that I saw the exact same complaint decades ago about SVG, TIFF, PNG, JPEG, and even BMP.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
And now I feel old.
