Just watched Ghost in the Shell '95 for the second time in six months and am now positive it's one of those rare films I could put on anytime and enjoy and find something new, forever.

NHK has located and interviewed the elusive Nasir Gebelli, the genius Iranian-American programmer of Final Fantasy I to III. Gebelli dropped out of the public eye for many years, and even Sakaguchi went to Twitter in 2012 to ask if anyone knew his contact information.

Today was the day Halloween probably should have been. Beat Crow Country, Slay the Princess, AND Clock Tower Rewind in a single Sunday. Absolute class

Crow Country is really compulsive playing, which is odd for a retro-styled survival horror. As much as I like OG Resi and Silent Hill, you have to be in the mood to stick with obtuse controls and puzzles ('it's part of the horror!' only goes so far). Crow Country's are like candy.
