Lots of people are taking & using this, on both here and Twitter, to dunk wholesale on MiHoYo and the latest story arcs of Honkai Star Rail. Takes like “well that explains why XYZ sucks” and “I was right to hate this” and similar takes.
Gacha games are designed with obsessive attention paid to trends so they can pace events and storylines to a degree that will make people pay money and attention to them with a clinical and statistical degree of addiction and I joked that HSR was the endgame of that; turns out I was 100% correct.
