Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons go head-to-head in BUGONIA, a bleak comedy/science-fiction hybrid which will absolutely divide audiences and leave you thinking and debating its worldview long after the film comes to a close.

Expanding in theaters everywhere this weekend.

As fantastic as Ethan Hawke is as Lorenz Hart, I wanted more from BLUE MOON, the seventh pairing between Hawke and Richard Linklater. Great performances, an appropriate amount of melancholy and bar-soaked confession, I wish it could break free of its limitations.

Rose Byrne gives a career-best performance in the challenging, claustrophobic IF I HAD LEGS I'D KICK YOU, expanding into more theaters this weekend. Not sure how audiences will receive this, but powerful moments exist within a film forcefully keeping you at a distance.

Mariners are so close. Sign Naylor. Get a RF and make a decision on 2B. Focus on finding scrappy hitters who can extend innings and run this back with a healthy pitching staff.

They are so close.

But this stings. And will for a really long time.
October 21, 2025 at 3:40 AM
The ALCS series is not over, but this Mariners team needs to find a consistent doubles hitter who can help string hits along and extend innings next year. The dependency on the home run takes us as far as this and we are a consistent, scrappy hitter away from being the team we think we have.
October 18, 2025 at 12:41 AM
I don’t always buy the east coast/west coast bias but post-game coverage of the Blue Jays win is so vastly different than what the Mariners got.

Slow-motion video montages of Vlad and of HRs and runs scored, while the Ms got some interviews and the experts saying “wow, what happened?!”. 🤔🤨🧐

Dwayne Johnson gives his all to a movie less about brawling and MMA and more about his character's internal struggles.

His Oscar buzz is legitimate. However, with THE SMASHING MACHINE, has a movie ever been this afraid of its own shadow?
