The open science room is the best part of @ohbmofficial.bsky.social. It’s the space where the community can decide on its own what they want to discuss. It’s a place to tackle the things that are really on folks minds. Sign the petition and help save the OSR: chng.it/JpSRvKLL7S

📢 it’s Dr Zelenina now!

Earlier today, I defended my thesis and was awarded a PhD in Biophysics and Biomedical Engineering, with Distinction. What an adventure it has been, and I’m so lucky to have had the opportunity to learn from a lot of amazing mentors. Thank you!

Walking to my office listening to @hankgreen.bsky.social and @johngreensbluesky.bsky.social answer goose questions. I hear honking coming from somewhere high above me. Fun coincidence, geese flying over, no big deal. Except the sound’s not going anywhere.

This is super important for scientists to understand when sharing their work on these platforms, because they’ll always include a link to the paper somewhere in the thread.
Ooh, @hankgreen.bsky.social effectively articulates the frustration I have with Twitter and Threads downranking anything that would take a user off their site.

Bluesky and Mastodon don’t do that and I’m so happy they don’t.

Look, a link! 😱😉 youtu.be/D4ghgVq9z4M
