Side note: if we have catholic schools, we should make the kids learn atleast basic Aquinas and Augustine thought. Mostly because they touch on every entry level (and complex) question you can have about early and current catholic thought. Hmmm.....

Note that, the first year students i taught had better cognitive skills than these upper years. I guess covid high school? We are also theorizing that these covid high school kids also grew up with having all stressor just being removed rather than learning how to deal with it,

The sheer amount of clueless questions I get as a TA from thus particular upper year cohort is concerning. Not like regular questions about content, but genuine giving up, asking me to do things, etc

Can anyone explain how the currently disabled GO train could have left the track? Methinks a faulty switch (i thought this at first), but Metrolinx seems to indicate that the train came off the tracks before the switch. ???

I seem to be starting to come out of a mild OCD reoccurence (more like a flare up episode) that has lasted for about two weeks or so. In this case, obsessive gaming, picking, and yet my anxiety was background low. So what happened? Well sinking into these things gives a sort of calming effect,

me learning pet rat behaviour has been more humorous and way less stressful than trying to figure out human behaviour. Because they tend to "live in the moment", many of their actions can be seen as pretty linear.
