My hottest HSR take is that while powercreep is a thing, a lot of people get high on hype for new characters and ignore kit issues that their release environment attempts to hide, and the truth is a lot of those characters they claim to have been powercrept were actually just bad from the start

Seeing the reactions to the Modulo chapter are so fascinating because a lot of people are echoing what the characters feel in the story without considering how the people involved must feel or what the issue even is

It's so hard to actually criticize hoyo games because so much of the people that want to talk about it are just racist. I played through the supposed "China fantasy slop" ZZZ season and only half the chapters were actually focused on the Chinese-inspired factions

You can criticize JJK all you want but it's pretty baller a whole mini arc was dedicated to a character enacting bloody revenge on everyone that wronged her without any of the usual "muh revenge bad" shtick.
