There are many layers to this. Take Chainsawman, it's a Jump manga, nothing more "basic" than it. But wait, this one is based on Western Movies, therefore it's fine to discuss its themes, it's Higher Artform. But Fujimoto saying he's influenced by Haruhi/Monogatari, the Lower Art, is ignored.

Amazing Digital Circus ep7 was easily the best so far, manages to handle the comedy bits really well while delivering some of the most anxiety-inducing 30 minutes of my life.

Every one of these games is just the same sci-fi fantasy smear of generic character archetypes with glowing runes and nonsensical hero shooter worldbuilding. Kind of vacuous sludge where you get the fire guy who says some shit like "I'm turnin up the heat!! woo!!!"

I don't hate E33, I dislike it becauae it's not for me, and I can respect it as a game but I hate how it ended up being treated as this savior of a genre that didn't need saving especially when it really didn't do anything out of the ordinary.

Saw someone say MHA's and Fate's idea of what a hero is are unlike each other and like, I don't think that's technically wrong because they do have opposing conclusions, but it's fascinsting to me because I do believe the paths they travel to arrive at their conclusions are parallel to one another.

I don't doubt this could be true at all, I really don't, but it's genuinely concerning seeing people share this with absolutely no sources attached.
Oh yeah btw the reason why Vine is being relaunched with great fanfare and no Al is because it's jointly operated with an Al company and they probably don;t want to pollute their scrap pile with stuff they've already shat out.
