I am glad more people are discussing this. As a full time convention artist, this shit drives me up the wall. ESPECIALLY when it creeps into actual artist alley's and makers spaces. It not only devalues the true art around them, but creates mundane experiences for attendees that may not come again.

Listen to me. Listen. If you're making images that will only be displayed on screens, YOU HAVE TO LET GO. You can calibrate your screens perfectly, but then 25k people will see it on their shitty $50 monitors or cracked phone and its out of your hands. Don't think of it. Achieve enlightenment.
