There were times when critics of America said it was an imperialist power stealing oil from the 3rd World and American presidents denied it. This president says he is out to steal oil and be an imperialist and wants a 3rd term. He hopes people are evil and/or stupid enough to allow him to do this.
I keep thinking about what Timothy Snyder recently said. He said posting on social media is good as long as you also take political action in some other ways (different people can pick different things) like contacting representatives, going to demonstrations, talking to others, donating...etc,etc,

The Wall St Journal had an article about trump selling pardons for a minimum of 1 million dollars each. If you are a drug kingpin running Honduras he has a deal for you. In his first term comedian/impressionist John Di Domenico did a skit showing him selling them for a lot less. GOP=Mafia + KKK.

Great show Dec 12. 2025 on MSNow with Rachel Maddow and Timothy Snyder. It was about 120 minutes long. Tim's book "On Tyranny" was used a lot and the first rule of 20 in the book was "Do not obey in advance." He also said taking action is key over words on social media.

Trump calling for death to those vets in congress who committed the "crime" of supporting the constitution is beyond traitorous. Trump is the traitor. Going after Kelly and basically swift-boating him is a crime. Into the streets again.

It sure appears that the U.S. Congress is not coming back and Trump will declare himself Der Fuhrer. It is like he burnt the Reichstag as he knocked down part of the White House. This way they won't have to ever swear in a new Congress or count votes. As strange as it seems, it seems true.

Bondi, Trump & Co are sounding like they are outlawing "Antifa" which simply means they hope to outlaw anti-fascism. Fascists no longer say they are fascists, they say you must be some kind of terrorist if you don't like fascism.

Everyone should read Timothy Snyder's book On Tyranny and have a number of friends they can discuss the situation with often. People need to spread the word for events like No Kings demonstrations. Do many actions together to build The Resistance. Form your organization to be ready to win.
