First roses but now the bushes are full. Also the azaleas. After the long time of freezing temperatures in upstate SC this winter I thought I'd lose plants. But they are blooming more than ever. Resilience.

When a friend was having open-heart surgery, I assisted with distance Reiki and a custom essential oil blend for recovery, but it brought up a lot of thoughts about the power of the heart.

There are fires in the Carolina mountains and we are so dry here now, they are hard to contain. I think it's time we all learned how our ancestors called the rain. We will need to have some twice a week at this rate...it isn't even summer yet.
