Does anyone know of a case where a #quarto website is embedded in another website that wasn't built with quarto? Ideally, the #quarto content would appear as an additional tab or section on the main website, with the URL reflecting the main site itself rather than the separate quarto deployment.

I've been working on a #quarto website, and previously, I didn't need to re-render the site after every edit to a .qmd file. Simply refreshing the browser would integrate the changes. I only needed to re-render once I was done editing. 1/2

Also footnote markers can be labels and not just numbered, e.g. [^rmd-formats] instead of [^4], which helps me keep track of those notes when I move the text around

In #rstats #quarto, when writing documents that contain footnotes, I tend to move things around a when editing, disordering the footnote sequence (see first image). I learnt that instead of re-numbering manually, I can just click on 'visual' then 'source' again and the sequence is normalised.

Hi #rstats fam. Everytime I render my #quarto website, the process renders all the qmd files even for posts I made ages ago. Ideally, I want to render only the files I edit (for example file 22 in the image below). I have the option 'freeze:auto' on every qmd file but it doesn't seem to work.

New blog post! I helped build Idaho's official election results website (with #rstats and #quartopub) and we did some neat stuff to auto-generate hundreds of R chunks. Here's a guide about how to create tabsets and slides programmatically with inline knitr chunks www.andrewheiss.com/blog/2024/11...
