We started polar coordinates today in online further maths. I gave them 5 mins with desmos and a few pointers and they came up with some amazing polar curves. None of them had heard the word cardiod before though 🤯🤷

In #mathstoday I got to rant about notation and how inverse notation and reciprocal notation is ridiculous and should be changed and how we use arcsin and arccos and we want none of this sin^-1 business!
